Mid Coast Women’s Domestic violence Court Advocacy Service (Mid Coast WDVCAS) is a locally based government funded organization providing services in and around the Manning Great Lakes and Mid North Coast areas. We offer free services to women and their children who have experienced or are experiencing domestic and family violence in their lives.

Our work aims to improve women’s access to the local court systems and support you in getting an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) protection from the court. We work with you and the police to make sure the conditions of the AVO suit your needs.

We are a team of skilled domestic and family violence specialists who listen to what you want and need. We work with other services in our community, and can offer referrals for free legal advice, counselling, financial assistance, and other social and welfare services you may need, including government and non-government agencies.

We take your safety seriously. Our staff are experienced at assessing and addressing the risks to you and your children. We can support you in developing safety plans, provide safe phones, apply for financial assistance to increase the safety in and around your home, as well as referrals to other relevant services for assistance.
